An exploration in texture.

After a fulfilling career as a physician, I have embraced a second chapter in my life - one filled with color, creativity and joy of making art.

Living in Montana, I find endless inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds me. From the majestic wildlife and sweeping landscapes, to the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Native American peoples of our region, I see a recurring theme of resilience, strength, history and enduring connection between people and the land that continually sparks new ideas and artistic possibilities.

My passion is creating vibrant, richly textured textile art using fabric, thread, and unexpected materials. I love exploring the interplay of color, patterns and texture, transforming ordinary materials into expressive works of art that tell a story.

Each piece is an opportunity to experiment, discover, and see the world around me a little differently. Whether capturing the spirit of an animal, the beauty of a landscape, or an idea that carries a deeper message, I strive to create artwork that invites viewers to look closer, feel something, and perhaps see the familiar in an entirely new way.

For me, this second chapter is about following my curiosity, celebrating the beauty around us, and finding joy in the endless possibilities of creating with fabric and thread.
